Our Policies for a 3-Day Estate Sale

Inherited An Estate?  Combining Households?  Have Too Much Stuff?

Our staff is ready to bring a combined total of more than 100 years experience in the antiques and collectibles field to bear on your estate liquidation needs.  Our goal is threefold:  1) minimize your problems and heartache, 2) maximize your estate liquidation proceeds and, 3) offer merchandise at reasonable prices.  We take the burden off your shoulders!  Additionally, we not only have the ability to liquidate your estate items on-site, but also at trade shows or via the internet.  T-N-T Treasures, Inc., which is fully insured and licensed for your protection, is an Accredited Member of the American Society of Estate Liquidators, the Antiques Collectibles National Association and the Better Business Bureau.  If your home also needs to be sold, we can put you in contact with several people we work with to discuss selling your property.  We look forward to discussing your estate needs at your convenience.  References are gladly given.

3-Day Estate Sale (Friday – Sunday)

HOURS:  Friday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Sunday 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

SHOPPING BASKETS:  We have shopping baskets available to carry your purchases, so PLEASE NO Large Bags, Backpacks or Large purses.  Please leave them in your vehicle or at the cashier’s table until you are ready to leave.

NUMBERS:  Only needed 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM Friday!  Numbers at 8:30 AM.  Early Sign-Up list at front door 5:30 PM Thursday and will stay until we open on Friday.  Call 757-485-3927 between 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM the Thursday before the sale starts, to get on the list or you can come by and sign up.  If you use the Early Sign-Up list, you must be here at 8:30 AM Friday to get your number.  We open at 9:00 AM.

PRICES:  Everything is priced for immediate sale.  Prices FIRM Friday; Selected items discounted Saturday & Sunday.  There have been no early sales!

PAYMENT:  MC, VISA, American Express, Discover cash & checks w/valid driver’s license ($50.00 return fee applies).  We collect 6% VA sales tax on all purchases unless a valid tax exempt form is on file.

PRICE TAGS:  Most large items have a yellow, two-part tag.  Remove the bottom half – only if you wish to buy it.  When ready to “cash out”, give it to the cashier.  Feel free to pick up smalls as you are shopping.

REMOVAL:  Only after payment is made.  Removal by 4:00 PM Sunday, unless arrangements are made.  A Delivery Service is available! If moving large or heavy items, PLEASE bring help!

BIDS:  Everything is priced for sale.  This is NOT an auction.  You may also enter a bid, which must be at least 50% of the original ticket price, but keep in mind that the showcase items and those in that area will only be discounted 35%, so please bid accordingly.  To bid, use odd numbers ($196.73) to avoid ties and consider that others may be also bidding.  Items not sold by 5PM Saturday at closing may be won by left bid.  We notify only winning bidders Saturday night.  Upon confirmation, those items are marked SOLD and will be ready for pick-up from 9AM to 2PM Sunday, unless prior arrangements are made with our staff.  If no confirmation is received, the item remains available for sale on Sunday.  When placing a bid, you are obligated to purchase said item(s) at your bid price.  T-N-T reserves the right to accept or refuse bids on behalf of the estate.

MISC.:  Please respect all “Private”/”Empty” signs inside and neighbor’s driveways and lawns outside.  We appreciate your business, suggestions and comments.  All sales are final – no refunds – no returns.
